With a dynamic vision for growth, we are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as Safety and Fleet Officer in which you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our employees, fleet, and facilities.   Responsibilities   • Develop and Implement health and safety plans. • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments, including regular job site visits and spot checks to ensure Osprey Electric policies are being followed/implemented properly. • Follow up on all corrective action items noted during inspections. • Actively promote health and safety awareness. • Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and local regulations, including Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements. • Conduct safety training and education programs and demonstrate the use of safety equipment. • Manage and maintain accurate OH&S records. • Provide input on Osprey Electric's safety goals to establish a strong safety culture. • Supervising safety courses. • Manage WorkSafe BC claims. • Liaise with WorkSafe BC and other regulatory authorities to promote safety on each job site. • Investigate accidents, identify their causes, and find ways to prevent them in the future. • Prepare and present safety reports for management. • Lead the investigation into incidents in the workplace including analysis and recommendations. • Ensure a safety orientation is completed for workers and visitors new to the job sites. • Oversee fleet safety protocols, including vehicle inspections, maintenance, and accident reporting. • Other tasks assigned by Osprey Electric management. • Must be able to visit and move around project sites, which may involve climbing ladders, navigating uneven terrain, and carrying light loads.     Qualifications •  Proven experience in a similar role in the electrical construction industry • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in British Columbia • Excellent communication (verbal and writing) and training skills • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities • First Aid Level 3 • Valid Class 5 Driver’s license • Experience controlling sensitive and private information • Very strong organization, multi-tasking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills • WHMIS, CSO Certification • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint • Physical Requirements   Benefits • Competitive salary commensurate with experience • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental and vision coverage. • RRSP matching. • Company vehicle • Opportunities for professional development and career advancement • Supportive work environment with a focus on teamwork and collaboration • Company-sponsored social events and employee recognition programs.     If you are passionate about the electrical trade, enjoy a creative problem-solving, and thrive in a dynamic saftey role, we want to hear from you! Position Overview: As the Electrical Service Manager at Osprey Electric, you will play a pivotal role in our organization, collaborating with customers, technicians, team members, and third-party partners to deliver top-notch electrical services. From ordering and coordinating installation of equipment to troubleshooting and maintenance, you will oversee all aspects of electrical projects to ensure 100% customer satisfaction. Success will be measured based on the customer responses of your division, staff engagement, quality of workmanship on projects, attention to safety and gross margin targets for your division. We are a customer-focused company - they drive the ship. This position will need a self-motivated person, driven to deliver exceptional customer experience while motivating leadership for our field crews.   Key Responsibilities: ·       Respond to customer requests for services promptly and efficiently. ·       Plan, direct, price, order, organize and review all electrical projects to ensure smooth execution. ·       Financial oversight of your division. ·       Scheduling crews and jobs ·       Ordering and pricing material. ·       Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business. ·       Lead and motivate field crews to deliver high-quality workmanship and exceptions customer service. ·       Utilize technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues. ·       Develop electrical design solutions and provide pricing options to customers. ·       Monitor project budgets, track expenses and ensure profitability targets are met. ·       Communicate effectively with team to coordinate project, activities and ensure alignment. ·       Ensure all work meets regulatory requirements, industry standards and company polices. ·       Drive continuous improvement initiative to enhance operation efficiency and customer satisfaction. ·       Monitor key performance indicators and metrics to evaluate divisional performance.     Qualifications: ·       Minimum 5 years’ experience in being a electrical foremen, service foremen or electrical project manager. ·       FSR Certification. ·       Exceptional organization and scheduling skills. ·       Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams. ·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ·       Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences. ·       Technical expertise in electrical design, troubleshooting and maintenance. ·       Knowledge of regulator requirements and industry standards. ·       Proficiency in electrical project management software and Microsoft Office. ·       Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
