Why Choose
OSPREY FOR RV PARK ELECTRICAL WORK
RV park electrical systems are more complex than they look — and the consequences of undersized or outdated infrastructure show up fast. Here's what Osprey brings to the job.
Load Management to Protect Your Investment
Service upgrades are expensive. Smart load management can often defer or eliminate the need for a costly service upgrade by maximizing the capacity you already have. We design load management solutions that give you headroom for growth without an immediate hit to your capital budget.
Honest Capacity Planning
Many older RV parks were built for a different era of electrical demand — before 50-amp RVs, air conditioning, and EV charging became the norm. We assess your system honestly, identify the risks, and recommend practical upgrades that support both today's demand and future growth — without overselling work you don't need yet.
BC Hydro Expertise
Getting a new RV park or major expansion connected to BC Hydro's grid requires careful coordination and a solid understanding of utility requirements. We've done this work, we know the process, and we manage it on your behalf to avoid the delays and surprises that come with navigating it on your own.
Large-Scale Distribution Experience
Most RV parks require the kind of power distribution expertise that comes from commercial and industrial electrical work — not residential. Osprey's team has hands-on experience designing and installing large-scale distribution systems, and we apply that experience directly to RV park projects.

RV Park Electrical Services
New RV Park Electrical Installations
Building a new RV park or campground from the ground up requires a well-designed electrical system that's sized for current demand and future growth. We handle the full scope — from service sizing and load calculations through to power pedestal installation and BC Hydro coordination.
INCLUDES:
-
Full design-build electrical systems for new RV parks
-
Service sizing and load calculations
-
Underground and overhead distribution
-
Power pedestals and individual site servicing
-
Coordination with BC Hydro for service connection
Electrical Upgrades & Expansions
If your park is adding sites, upgrading existing infrastructure, or simply struggling to meet the electrical demands of modern RVs, Osprey can assess your current system and recommend practical upgrades. We plan for future growth so you're not back at the drawing board in five years.
INCLUDES:
-
Service capacity assessments and upgrades
-
Replacement of outdated panels and distribution equipment
-
Addition of new RV sites to existing systems
-
Infrastructure planning for future growth and EV charging readiness

Power Pedestals & Site Servicing
Power pedestals are the most visible — and most used — part of your park's electrical system. We supply and install pedestals configured for your guests' needs, with metering and monitoring options that support accurate billing and usage tracking.
INCLUDES:
-
Installation of 15A, 30A, and 50A receptacles
-
Metered and non-metered pedestal options
-
Energy monitoring solutions for usage tracking and billing
Maintenance & Repairs
Electrical problems at an RV park affect paying guests and your park's reputation. Osprey provides responsive troubleshooting, preventative maintenance programs, and emergency service to keep your park running reliably throughout the season.
EV Charging Integration
Guest demand for EV charging at RV parks is growing steadily. Osprey installs Level 2 EV chargers and designs load management systems that allow you to add charging capacity without triggering a costly service upgrade.

Our RV Park Electrical Process
Assessments are free and include a detailed proposal outlining system specifications, costs, projected savings, and payback timeline. No pressure, no obligation—just the information you need to make a data-driven decision. Here's what it includes:
1
Site Assessment
We start with a thorough assessment of your site — existing infrastructure, current demand, available capacity, and your plans for growth. For new builds, we work from your site plan and requirements. For upgrades, we assess what you have and what it can realistically support.
2
Proposal & Design
You receive a detailed proposal covering scope, equipment, load management approach, BC Hydro coordination requirements, and pricing. We flag capacity risks and growth planning considerations clearly so you can make informed decisions.
3
Professional Installation
Our team handles the full installation — trenching, distribution, pedestals, panels, and metering — coordinating with BC Hydro and your site team throughout. We keep the project on schedule and minimize disruption to park operations where possible.
4
Commissioning & Handover
Every site is tested and commissioned before handover. We provide full documentation of the installed system and walkthrough of any monitoring or load management systems, so your team knows exactly what they're working with.
