As we continue to expand our operations in the Comox Valley, we are looking for an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team in the Courtenay / Comox area.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have experience working on commercial, residential, and multi-residential construction projects, including apartments, townhomes, mixed-use developments, and other large-scale electrical projects.

You are a confident electrician with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality. You enjoy collaborating with your team and take pride in representing Osprey Electric on every jobsite.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete electrical installations, service, maintenance, and troubleshooting across a variety of projects

• Perform high-quality electrical work while following all safety standards and regulations

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, plans, and specifications

• Collaborate with Foremen, Project Managers, apprentices, and other trades

• Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to apprentices learning the trade

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite

• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and project partners

Qualifications

• Red Seal Electrician certification or Journeyman Electrician certification

• Experience in commercial, residential, and/or multi-residential electrical construction

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and installation practices

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Reliable, safety-focused, and committed to quality workmanship

• Valid driver’s license required
